I Saw American Idol’s David Cook Perform LIVE

You know sometimes I can blog about items that don’t relate to real estate investing and wholesaling houses :) Last night my wife and I went to see a David Cook concert on the ocean front. It was really neat to see somebody that you have seen on TV and VH1 for the longest time. He put on a great show! You know who David Cook is don’t you? His song “Come Back to Me” is like number one on all of the charts!

Not only was David Cook there but Felica Barton who made the top 36 of American Idol gave a performance too. She sounded great! The whole concert was great because it was right on the ocean front. Oh, Matt Nathanson was there too and I am sure you have heard his hit song on radio recently.

Believe it or not that was my first real concert and I could not believe the beating my ears took! My wife and I were unintentionally yelling at each other for quite some time after the concert was over….LOL. She says her ears are still recovering!

One thing that was pretty neat is how close I was able to get to the stage. I got some pretty good pictues and I am in the middle of uploading a video of one the songs to YouTube. It is quite a large file so it is taking forever!     I was there too and it *was* a great show! This is my second time seeing Dave and the band in concert. They rock hard, don’t they? :) He’s definitely NOT your mother’s American Idol!

    Glad you enjoyed yourself. It was my first time seeing Matt Nathanson and I loved him. I don’t think I have room in my life for two obsessions (do I?) but will definitely be getting his cds.

    I am glad to see that you are now “cookiefied.” David Cook puts on a great show. I can’t get enough of the guy. It’s over a year since he won American Idol and I am still obsessed as ever. Heck, I never listened to music much until he came around. There isn’t one song on his album that I don’t like. I love them all. What makes it even better is that he is so down to earth and such a nice guy. He’s the real deal.
