I just wanted to make a quick statement on probate investing in your wholesaling business. I know it is the memorial day holiday and hopefully you are enjoying it with your family. If you are not it is because you still have a boss! I’m telling you bosses are evil..lol…No, seriously I am grateful for the freedom that wholesaling houses has given to me and I want you to experience the same.
A while back I posted a check for 10K that I got from wholesaling a probate house. I am sure you are hearing the “probate” buzzword left and right in the real estate investing community. They are great properties for many reasons and I will talk about that in a future post. What I wanted to do in this post is give you a testimonial from the homeowners in that situation. The reason some real estate investors do not get into this business is because they feel they are taking advantage of people. I wanted to post this testimonial so that you can see it is the complete opposite.
“About two weeks after my mother-in-law died, my wife and I recieved a post card in the mail from Alex offering to buy my mother-in-law’s house. Initially we dismissed it thinking we could make the needed repairs and sell the house ourselves or through a realtor. However, we decided to make an appointment with Alex to see what he had to say. We met with Alex and he told us what he thought of the house, the renovations he believed would be needed, and his estimates of closing and realtor costs and market conditions.
